Ok so my 2 cents on this. Bing is easier to tune less to mess with etc... Dellorto you have a lot you can tune tweak and mess with. So if your looking to go as fast as you can go with a dellorto. If you just wanna ride and aren't worried about racing anyone stay with the bing. The SHA carbs are single jet carbs like the Bings they're just cheaper to buy. The PHBG and SHA is just the model of carb. The AS/DS/CS/etc... if I remember right is how the carb attaches to the intake (that piece the goes from the carb to the engine). Hose mount means theres a hose that attaches the carb to the intake clamp means the carb its self clamps onto the intake. The intake is a small deal. No point in putting a 20mm carb on a 12mm intake as you can only flow 12mm worth of fuel and air. So intake should be of equal or greater size than the intake withing reason. If the intake is too big you're not gonna be able to mount the carb on the intake. Pull choke means theres a nob you pull on to set the choke lever means theres a lever you push on and cable means you can attach the other end of the cable to what ever you want. If you look in the wiki theres a ton of info and also a step by step guide on how to tune these carbs. As you do it more you'll get better at it. Also the Polinis are fast..... very fast. The metra's are alot more forgiving and can be decently quick. Soft seized my metra 65 twice thing still runs like a top.
