is it possible to do this conversion with the za motor spinning in the opposite direction? i have a complete cdi ignition system from an e50 powered Korado, anyone any experience of this?

i was gunna try it.. i think you just have to flip the top coil around so the pick up is on the other side.
thats only a guess.
but i know it wont work the regular way. it spins the opposite direction.
but you could buy the 100 dollar cdi stator from treats and use your black box
it works just run the stator upside down

Hmm you have to tap the one hole on the plate where the pick up is/ trigger.. ?
Here (hopefully) is a pic of the ducati ign statorplate, there is no pickup like on the ones that benji sells, so do you think reversing the top coil is the answer?

Can you get some capliers.. tell what the spacing it .. on the screws.. I think I have cdis that fit stator..
I think there is maybe a little confusion here, this is the complete stator, there is a blackbox which incorporates the coil and a standard looking flywheel, i have run it on an e50.
Anyone hear of the Korado CDI being rev-limited?
I think jcams is running a korrodo kick start with cdi, and it is limited.
Interesting. Mines seems to be hitting a wall at around low 30s even though its not geared out or at a loss of power. Thanks. Ill try another CDI or CDI box...
my kurado cdi box is not limited i can tell you that ..
it goes way beyond where my points would ever go
