LOL. That thing would run like crap. You can't just hang a carb on anything that fits and expect it to work effectively throughout the power band. Length is as critical a factor as proper size to the proper metering of a carb. Maybe you could make a neon pink colored, twisted coat hanger mounting brkt to tie it to the pipe for support.
Of, course, I know this is a joke.
