weird this post popped back up. I don't know anything about the puch MVT but the french ones ended up sucking balls, the timing curve was unpredictable and was different from ignition to ignition also on timing light tests the curve would barely move and produced inconsistent results. (unlike the HPI with smooth variating timing)
our team ran three of these during the polini racing season and each one failed/broke/fried up/never could figure out how to fix it during different practice sessions.
IMO stick witht he non variating timing curve malossi aka ducati cdi, or mod the hpi to fit a frenchy or just run it on ur puch with a battery for lights, it tis the best
