IMO you're best bet is to get a tecno boss for a puch, and cut it and re-weld it to the original header.
ha bump for just doing that tonight
i was thinking about doing that, let me know what you think of it. are you running stock?
Yea im running stock, everything is stock right now, looking to change that. Pissed at my pathetic ability's on my Garelli so i need some mods!
yea your preaching to the choir. i picked up a garelli and it was an 18mph model...slow as balls!!! so i threw a kit cause thats all i could afford to do with the biggest increase in preformance. now i want a pipe and new carb and am leaning toward a 19mm and a boss. but i'm happy for now.
yo i was just looking in the buy/sell and found this

snatch this up if you got the money, then when you want to go faster than stock with a pipe you'll have it. assuming your engine is a horizontal not vertical.
estoril cut/weld
6p cut and weld, bi turbo, leo hand made circuit, 50cc two piece performance that 1977 had years ago, estoril cut and weld
Garelli Sahel: Original LaFranconi exhaust
Garelli Team: Polini "Snail"
Garelli Noi: EV OEM
benassar!!
polini pipe im not a fan of-- well performance yes.. construction nooooo
hack and weld sucks. why pay for a huge-ass header and then lop it off and weld your rusty little stock one on?
pack that shit full of play sand and then bend it with a torch I've done an Estoril and a Boss, both with good results. Plus, you don't have to learn to weld.
Yeah juan i'm sick of u being a fuckin traffic hazard. I'll be home in 22 days so u got that long until u better be rippin.
Does frederico have garelli pipes for sale? Hit him up.
hey you willing to sell any of those pipes?
Im waiting for those bennasar pipes to restock!!!
Quatto..I agree with you. If i had known about the sand trick
beforehand, I would have never wasted that header instead of
hacking it off..live and learn
I understand the concept of the sand trick, but how exactly do you do it? It seems to me that if you fill it competly with sand that it would get into the packing in the silencer and make a mess. Also how would you cap off the back end...cork or something?
motomatic n8p! pricey but awesome.
