Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace stock

Does it replace stock motobecane pulley??

And what are the benefits.

Also, what is this for.motobecane av7 av10 doppler clutch pulley

I just bought a G3 pipe, 19mm PHBG racing carb, 70CC Parmakit.

Should I do up the pulleys, I have the cash.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

What is THE CLUTCH PULLEY for????

I need to take two people up big CT hills, man.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

help me understand.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

if you don't know what it's for or what it does then don't buy it yet. baby steps man.

er2 pulley?

spigot mount racing phbg with a motobecane, eh? have fun mounting that...

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

yeah man clamp style was the way to go on the phbg. just because it says race on it dosnt mean it will be better for you. and if you are mounting it with the short intake have fun having it hit the frame.

and your talking about the variator ER2 right? the normal one dosnt have the clutch function so the dopller pulley substitutes the clutch function by being able to spin so you can idle.

i have know clue about the kick start one tho.

in my opinion you should just get a variator with the clutch like a malassi variotop. you get to save some $$$ and keep the old pulley.

brendanm is right man baby steps, speed and performance takes time. mobys are like shy french woman they need time coxing to get them out of there shells.

oh and to answer your first q any variator would be better than the stock one especially a dopller.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

Don't touch it if you have no idea what it does. Search the forums, do some research and learn about these parts before you shell out the cash so you know you are building the bike you want!

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

btw the "kickstart" version _is_ the clutch function version, but have fun starting the bike.

not trying to flame man, just saying figure what you want to do first and add one part after another, taking time to tune and get used to each.

expensive parts don't make fast bikes.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

My pulley has been crashed by the previous owner.

I just thought if something out there is better than stock I might as well get it now for when It gets taken apart.

It is warped and slowly devours belts when two people are on.

Thanks guys for the reply's.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

take it easy guys, I think he is just asking if he can use the ER2 Doppler pulley to replace his stock one. The answer is yes you can, it is a stock replacement that is a little lighter due to the cut-away. I don't know if the one Benji sells comes with the sprocket or no, so check on that. If you are indeed asking about the clutch pulley, don't get it yet, that is upper level tuning for sure. you'll have a lot of fun with the pipe and kit, but i'd recommend cutting your teeth on a 15:15 SHA, PHBG will give you a lot of headaches until you figure out what you're doing and probably increase your chances of frying your new kit before you get a chance to break it in.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

OK, I have a 15/15 SHA now, anyways, I should break it in and ride it for a while and get a bunch of jets close to the ones on the spreadsheet before I put the 19mm on then.

Thanks.

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

yea man I know what they do but I am taking baby steps and going with the variplus

Re: Does a motobecane doppler ER2 pulley replace s

aaaah yeah i thought you meant er2 variator.

yeah if you need the sprockets for the doppler pulley you're speaking of, we have them at quarterkick under doppler pulley sprocket. we have them in 11, 12, and 13 tooth.
