Jetting Help Needed

This is my setup:

Puch

Cobra

e50

70cc K-Star Kit

technigas pipe

I originally ordered a 15mm delorto SHA with many jets for dialing it in right, but it does not clear the frame. So I decided that I am just going to use the 14mm bing that came with the bike.

What jet should I start with?

I don't want to have to order alot of jets seeing that I just dropped all my money into the upgrade.

Anyone got some that they want to sell?

Please help as I am anxious to hear this thing purrr.

Thanks

Re: Jetting Help Needed

start in the high 80s and work your way down, I ended up in the high 70s with a similiar setup; 14mm bing and intake, 70cc airsal, and estoril, on a za50.

Re: Jetting Help Needed

custom intake for your dellorto please.

Re: Jetting Help Needed

yeah, 14mm ain't gonna satisfy that kit. mid 70's jetting, with minimal airbox is as high as you can go, effectively on a 14. don't be a weenie, 19mm PHGB that beeotch. or make you a proper intake, my buddy has a V-1 intake on his puch that makes a dellorto fit just fine.

Re: Jetting Help Needed

I just decided to modify the choke lever so that the carb will fit. Had to bend it a couple times to get it just right so that it would clear the frame. The carb is not level, but I don't think it will matter too much. What do you think?

Guess the jet.

I will not be able to try to start it till this weekend.

Redoing all the electricals and forks right now.

Here's the pics of the setup.

Here is the choke lever in the off position:

Here is the choke in the off position:

Have to push the choke down with a key or flat head.

No big deal.

Re: Jetting Help Needed

Just get one of these puppies. Fits a 15 del perfectly, it has a sleeve on it that I cut off to clamp on my 16 phbg.. it's like 15 bucks from treats
