So the bottom reed is to big for the gasket on my my a35 what the fuck should i do, set the reeds on top of the gasket or trim the gasket around them?

Re: boyesen problems need help asap

Your kit should have three reeds and two plates. You only use two of the reeds and one of the plates. It should fit right up, the solid reed goes on top and one of the other reeds goes under it between the plate and the solid reed. This way the solid one opens first and the one under it opens under high pressure.

So the directions are wrong? what reed with the holes? and the order would be screws-solid-plate-hole reed-then kit?

Re: boyesen problems need help asap

okay install the big fat one (bottom right) first. the the one on the bottom left. then the one on the top.

then install the correct reed stop a your done.

p.s. your reed block (the stock metal thing you re-used) can only fit one of those reed stops. they give you two because there are two different engines that this reed pack fits onto.

Thats what i put but the gaskets need to be trimmed out pretty far, the bottom right one is mega bigger then the OG. and the reeds seem kind of lagging in performance not sure why?

Re: boyesen problems need help asap

Try the bottom left then, if its a better fit use that... Ive installed two of those kits and both times ended up using the left bottom reed.
