So I'm going to cut and weld an estoril stinger to put on my magnum.

What is the best way to do it?

I'm going to aim for the pic attached.

The stinger is super short, how is performance different with the maxi I've pasted below?

I don't really like that look. What type of the cut estorils do the black widows rock?

doesn't the silencer add to the stinger length? That bend to the silencer is probably why that pipe has great power

Yeah, but is basically any straightening going to help? so either pipe is faster than stock?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the black widows did to these pipes when they straightened the stingers?

I bet chopping it makes the pipe way louder. It looks rad.

Might be fashion more than function. But I don't know for sure.

You can chop off the back cone and remove the baffle in those pipes & re-weld it back. That gives you better performance.

i think it might effect the powerband because it is shortening/ lengthening a certain point in the exhaust's diameter.

If you search the threads on this, many have said this slightly increases top end performance. It also looks sick and makes it so pedals clear.

problem: your pedal arm hits the pipe at the expansion chamber, and your heel hits the little downspout exhaust tip.

solution: hit your pedal arm with a hammer, and straighten out the pipe

I did this too. What I did was cut and remove the exhaust plug, cut and reroute the stinger, and make it so the header was flush with the first cone by forming a new first cone. It was sorta intense work for such a crappy pipe but it looks sweet. The torque on mine is incredible, but the top end is still not like a NateP:

I would say the biggest restriction on the estoril is that the header extends almost an inch into the first cone. This is the most critical junction as I understand.

that bike i posted the pic of was a top end monster. It's being rebuilt as i post this.

my header deff sticks into th primary cone, but only like 4mm, but i could be wrong, i havent chopped the header at all.

I just had my pipe apart and yeah I noticed that 4mm over hang inside the chamber. I should have spent the extra time to blend that in. Shit!

The restrictor is out of mine, but now its super custom, center exit with a rear exit too. It fucking rips 30mph+
