ok so i havent worked on my ped for a while becuase its now a project at school. i go to put the pipe back on just becasue im bored and it doesnt line up. i have the a55 airsal kit but i just dont know why it wont fit. im pretty sure i got the cylinder facing the right way(big hole on top for the intake) or did i get this mixed up too
oh yeah. the pipe does fit when put against the so called intake
You have the 'big hole' on top? If you mean the exhaust port, then you have it on upside down. The intake port is smaller at the opening than the exhaust port.
Do you have a camera? Take some photos.
yeah well i cant really take any pics today because my ped is at school for a project but yeah the bigger opening hole i thought was the intake because i figured there would be more stuff going in then coming out. i dont even have it all back together so i wouldnt know if i messed up for a while
Sounds like your cylinder is upside down, hence why the exhaust wont fit on the intake port. The larger port is the exhaust and the smaller one is the intake.
if you look inside the cylinder, the port window of the exhaust will be closer to the front of the cylinder.
ok wow i feel like an idiot... i spent like 3 periods in my auto class making an intake to fit the wrong port....oh well thanks for your help i cant wait to get it running again
