run an air filter of some sort just to keep rocks out or chance it and make sure the carb isn't in a spot that rocks get lung at.

it probably looks like you can from that angle, but you can't. peep attachment.

putting a restrictive airbox on that natural velocity stack design would decrease performance, not enhance it. you can put the panty hose on either side of the carbwrap the rubber band over pantyhose around the round part at top of the inlet all the way down around the bowl. or try it over the spigot side when you put the hose on. this won't keep your carb clean, but it'll keep crap outta the cylinder. hell, it might even atomize the gas a little more :)

or put a good adhesive on the lip around the inlet, and press a screen filter on it. just get creative. don't let the machine outwit you, man.

You could go get some fine screen from a hardware store, cut out a little square and mash it down on the end of a baseball bat or something that shape, cut out your newly formed dome of screen, and hose clamp it on.

has it been used? cause i this thing has not even been put on

the screen shit off a screen window, good airflow and keeps out must everything big enough to tear shit up.
