on my 80cc /21mm del carb 92main jet ,w7 needle 45 pilot
i am allmost there getting this carb tuned .right now i have the needle at the leanest setting and the pilot jet screw is turned all the way in to the leanest setting.
so is anyone running 4o or lower pilot jet?
i could live with it the way its tuned righ now but i dont like the fact that i am maxed out on all my settings and when summer gets here i can not go any leaner as it stands
I assume you are talking about the idle jet? Is it an 80 metrakit on a puch? Your weather should be similar to mine in nebraska. I have 2 metra 80's and my friend has one. We are both running between 82 and 86 main jets and 40 idle jets. The needles are left in stock position. Usually if you are maxed out on your settings you need to change your main jet. I would start going down with the main jet and see what happens. But to answer your question, Yes, in fact in the summer I was running a 35 main jet on one of my kits. I have had no problems and my plug and piston crown tell me the mix is right.
a 35 man jet? that doesn't sound right.
He must be talking about an 8cc kit :)
