what ?
i just bough a new 15 mm dellorto i put it on and when i drive it goes really slow how do i make my moped go faster? (moped is puch maxi)
have you changed anything else on the ped?
You probably need to jet accordingly.
and you probly have an E-50 wich is a one speed motor...
where do i get jets? i did not change anything else on it.
Buy jets at treats.
If you don't know what size you need, you can try checking the spreadsheet for people running similar setups. Although if you just threw a 15mm carb on there and haven't put on a pipe or anything, I don't know how much you're going to find that's similar to what you've got. Usually people upgrade the pipe first because you get more bang for your buck with a pipe (if that's the only mod you're making, anyway). I doubt you'll be seeing a whole lot more speed with the bigger carb unless you do some other mods too. You might want to read this.
And after reading your posts in the repair forum...
Do you have an E50 or a ZA50?
You said E50 (one speed) in one thread, and then ZA50 (two speed) in another, so now I'm confused. Usually if you say something in one thread that you didn't mean or that was wrong, it's easier just to post a correction in that same thread rather than making another one. It's less confusing with fewer threads for people to follow about the same problem.
Also, I realize that the distance between your carb and petcock is ridiculously short, but it'd probably be a good idea to see if you can work an inline fuel filter in there somewhere. This applies doubly if your gas tank is at all rusty.
i guess it is a one speed. when i hold clutch it makes it seem like it is a two speed.haha
.....wait.
You pull the clutch lever while riding as if its manual transmission?
oh god.
when i start driving it is in first gear abd i pull it and let go it goes to second.(thats how it feels) i don't know much so tell me
The clutch lever on an E50 is used ONLY for starting. ONLY ONLY ONLY. It's an automatic transmission. It needs no help from you to do anything -- it's all twist and go. This is part of the reason why mopeds have such lax registration/laws in most states -- because they don't have manual clutches. In fact, if it did have a manual clutch, most states would require you to register it as a motorcycle.
I bet if you stop pulling your clutch lever while you're riding (and you fix your jetting and all that) you'll see a marked improvement in how well it rides.
Here, read this. break>
And for good measure, read this too.
