sachs rear sprocket replacement

nerdzilla No mo Peds no mo /

anyone got some thorough info on it? seems simple, but im sure its not as easy as it seems. got a 40 tooth sprocket. gonna clamp the old one to it and drill out the proper bolt holes. but ive read it requires chainguard removal... do i need nuts or is it threaded? its a 82 sachs g3.... holler?

Re: sachs rear sprocket replacement

you need to take your rear wheel off and your rear brakes as well. The nuts for the sprocket bolts are in the hub. i have a 32 tooth on mine with a chain guard??
