Workin on puttting my EBRs on last night... and they have those two sets of berrings... I cant remember which way they went on... Balls down or up... I know this is a horrible description and i can go into more detail if need be but i figured someone has done this and knows what i'm talking about.
I dont know what u mean by "balls down/up" (but it does really turn me on). I thought the headset bearings on Mobys were loose, meaning there should be an "up or down orientation as with a puch, ring-o-bearings setup. Be more specific, maybe include a picture and I or someone else will give you the answer you need.
the "balls" need to point toward the head tube on the moped for both sides
Thats what i was thinking... I put them on and they werent turning as easy as i would like so i figured i needed more greese or i put the bearings on backwards...

you also need to put the race off your old forks on the ebrs
Ballsup in your face, or facing towards each other and use lots of lube.
I'm going to assume you meant to type brace? like fork stabalizer?... Cause there wasnt one on my old forks.
He meant the race, it is a circular ring that goes around the head tube on the ebr, that has a curved slot in it where the bearings rest in.
race is on the forks.. cups are on the frame.
on mine i had to smack the race off my old puch forks and put them onto my new ebrs.
but that just be me not necessarily you
Well i think i fucked my bearings up. i was pullin the top part off to check and see if i put them on right and i think they were in upside down and when i pulled out the bearings the "Balls" came apart... I'm pretty sure they arent suppost to do that... but yeah... Wheres a good place to get new bearings? Do they have to be Puch maxi bearings or can i get some from like a bike shop?
I don't know whether you can get them at a bike shop, but I DO know that you can get them from treats, which is always handy!
