Puch 3 shoe/benji (single) super

Quick question: super treats 3-shoe clutch

I am a little confused about where I can/cannot remove material/weight from these shoes. I know the acceptable weight ranges, but I want to take material from the right spot. I am just scared the shoes in the wiki tutorial are different mine in some crucial respect....

Can I remove material along the black line in the picture below? (is that inner pad protrusion functional in an important way?)

Thanks

Re: Puch 3 shoe/benji (single) super

cool. thanks mike. actually, I think I'm gonna stop by with those wheels.

Re: Puch 3 shoe/benji (single) super

How is the outer arm burnt? I wouldn't remove the inner pad, it keeps it from slamming back into the center of the clutch when it closes.

Re: Puch 3 shoe/benji (single) super

you want that line being opposite.

Just cut a little at first test, then if you want more cut some more, test. Then ifs its too much, well your fucked.

Hey Justin. That makes sense....so grind it off at an opposite angle to leave some of that inner pad (and destroy that pin/coil thingy)?

Justin means like the attached pic. But shave a little, test. Shave a little, test. Till you get your desired result. This is also taking into consideration your bike isn't tuned like complete poo.

And you can use a punch to take out the little stopper pin or cut around it if you want to keep it.
