hole is in case not crank. right in transfer port bottom.

full advance hole in crank!:(

Do you have a photo of what you are talking about?

Re: full advance hole in crank!:(

Dude , thats normal . it looks like a hole but its just a rough casting . It does actually go threw to the bearing that isn't lubricated by tranny fluid . The hole should be cleaned up and shaped to a make air/fuel/oil flow threw it and be indicative to good air flow for maximum lubrication of that bearing . If that makes any sence to you ? Also dont reshape the port totally or anything . Just really clean and smooth the edges of the hole .

Re: full advance hole in crank!:(

so I take it you won't be riding at the rally.

Re: full advance hole in crank!:(

Look in the repair forum , There is a thread about your dealeo

Re: full advance hole in crank!:(

dude, I completed ruined my stock puch crank (late model e50 with rollerbearing!) by running like 4mm before TDC timing. Advanced and fast as hell. You have to be very skilled to do that.
