I have a sachs with the 504/1b motor? How are the motors different? also I am to lazy to search. but have read the wiki. it said something about different bolt configurations.

Some of the motors have one stud in a slightly different place- look close at the kits, and you will see that it's already taken into account.

just use the info for the 505. they are 80%the same. the 80% that counts for a kit anyway.
504 should (maybe ) be faster- no drag from the internal pedal stuff, and a smaller flywheel.
