so i just got the kit today, and as i was fitting the ring around the cylinder... it effin broke. . .
is that ok? can i just put it back on like that? =/ or do i need to get new rings/??

if its a minarelli polini just run with one ring in the top groove. ive been doing that all year.
yes it is. do you know what size the ring is? ill prob buy a new one.
if you want to play it super safe, go to sears and get a ring putter oner tool. Its like $10. I broke a ring on my first rebuild and got the tool. It works well, but now I know how to do it right yet still use the tool. I can only get mad if it breaks a ring where as if I do it I'll be pissed.
