Do puch intakes come in different mounting sizes?

I bought a puch intake riser from someone on here for my Korado (not ready to bash them yet so I won't say who it is).

They say it came off of a magnum x. This intake riser is too small for my Korado intake & a regular #11 puch cylinder jug (See pic attached)

So, the question is did I get ripped off? It does however fit perfectly on a tomos a3 intake.

Here is a pic of the same riser on a a3 motor

Re: Do puch intakes come in different mounting siz

The magnum X has different intake stud spacing from most other puch cylinders.

Re: Do puch intakes come in different mounting siz

Yeah well it's smaller if that's the case.. I though all puchs were treated equal. guess not. lesson learned.

Re: Do puch intakes come in different mounting siz

Yup, I have a few intakes with oval holes so they can fit more than one style intake. It isn't a big deal. open the holes up with a dremel or file. Some exhausts have different stud spacing too. It would be too hard to modify the cylinder, so the spacer will need to be modified.

Re: Do puch intakes come in different mounting siz

It's going to be a bit more than opening the holes up. Not enough meat for that.

I have a bing intake around somewhere. I'll just make one from that.
