Is there a way to improve the stopping power on my puch. I'd like for my stops to be a bit more accurate and strong. Has anyone done anything to improve their stopping power?

do a search, people have cut cross hatches into their pads to help them flex into the brake drum, as well as other such improvements
disc brake
is there a disc brake kit that's made for the puch or people generally McGuyver something together?
most people weld the out side caliber on ,or weld a bracket on for it, and put bolts through were the brakes used to be for the disc. i have heard of scooter disc brakes, dirt bike, bike , and even seen some dutch use motor bike ones .
maybe in europe. some of the larger puchs (cobra/monza) came with disk brakes. most people dont go disk, but those that do McGuyver that shit
You have spoked wheels?
i do and really like the look of them. I wouldn't want to trade em out for snowflakes.
upgrade your fork to a tomos revival fork .... wheels are spoked ..... and of course have disc brakes
oooh now that's an interesting option. How hard do you think it would be to find a set?
and you don't think the forks will be too long? How do they compare in length to my stock fork?
just slit your pads that way its still a maxi works great
If you can find one, they made EBR's with a front disc brake setup. Or you could pull the disc brake setup off a Chinese scooter or something and rig it up pretty easily on your hub. Or you could get the forks/wheel from a honda MB5. You're going to have to do some work to get it setup unless you find the EBR's. But the difference is night and day when you have that disc brake.
