snordly p. christ's new handmade pipe! this is the klappenjammer model.
ummm... whats that made out of?
garbage?
I laughed, I cried...I love it.
It looks janky as hell and probly works pretty damn well, as it appears similar to a lot of the old 50GP pipes. Let us know how those welds hold out, I'm guess it won't be incredibly long lived. Still, good show.
Modeled after the Estoril I believe.
The only thing made out of garbage here is Zach's banana. And by banana I mean his junk. His junk is garbage.
super janky, but i love it. and the welds will hold just fine
It is apparently made out of light gauge stove pipe, so it is literally a smoke stack. Sounds good, seems to run well!
Thx for the laugh lol
look's to be modeled after the CADETTI 60'S exhaust. :)
pillowy mounds of mashed potatos
I bet that makes a bit of sound.
Oh yes it sings a sweet tune. As phil pointed out it's made of 24 guage stove pipe lap joint brazed. Cause it is hanging on there I had to make it light weight so the engine would still variate and it wouldn't snap off of its own weight. The flanged attachment allows for other style pipes to be attached for whatever need arises. I think you could get away with 28 gauge. The cone shape makes the thin metal surprisingly resilient so don't be afraid to use it. The fucking thing had scads of low and mid range powered by the 50cc cyl. I may shorten it for more top end or may just make another pipe for that purpose. The next one will be more symetric but this crooked cigar doesn't seem to know how it looks and performs well
That's Willy Wonka badasss....

Snordley is closer to the mark then most of us with this moped thing.
Aye laddy, thems thats dies is the lucky uns
easy to do at home!!! i bet you rolled that shit by hand!
Love it man!! How much dose the pipe weigh in at?
Really think it's cool how the expansion chamber is removable you could carry a few extra pipes in your bag and quickly swap em out as conditions changed. install a few dzus clips instead of bolts and you could do it very fast.
If ya wanted to be really crazy you could have a few carbs in your bag too. Each jetted for a particular pipe. But that's just crazy.
Ha, yea there are some cool quick release systems for hydraulic and pneumatic pipe. Without the header it weighs 1 and 3/4 lbs. I am in the process now tonight altering it, taking out a whopping 3 inches of diffuser. It will look more like a Jemco pipe now, just a little less radical. Thanks Paz for the input. Stove pipe already has some roll to it but yes you can just massage it with your hands
wow.
that shit is loud.
awesome. +
For some reason, this reminds me of this free metal-working handbook:

Nice work! Remember to use thicker metal when you build the boiler.
