Tuning & Maintenance for Tomos ST '07

Hi Moped Army,

This is my first moped, It rides decently and only has a 1000mi on it. I'm looking forward to riding with Guns come spring. The moped had some trouble starting after being transported sideways, and it is still weird, cleaning the spark plug seems to have helped. Essentially, it either takes a while to start, or when it runs the throttle is jerky, or it runs a few miles till it dies when you come to a stop. I also rode it 25mi the other day and it ran fine. I think its the valve as the far CCW setting seems to run well so far. Ideas?

I'm also not sure what the orientations on the Gas Valve are, the manual incl. was '06 maybe. I wanted to run what I've plan to do with it and get your opinions.

I don't know the maintenance history so I'm starting there.

Well, it's not a 4-stroke, or a Scooter, so instead, I recommend:

Also, I have no idea what "I think its the valve as the far CCW setting seems to run well so far. " means, as there aren't valves and I have no idea what a CCW setting is... Counter Clock Wise? Hm. I'm lost.
