i would loveeeeeee to take the intake off your hands.

is the magnum x topend even any different than a regular magnum cylinder? i though the only different was the 17bing and intake, as far as the topend goes.

yeah, intake is bigger and olt location is different

i can tell by looking at my magnum x that the intake is wider and the spacing is bigger, which is why i dont wanna have to rob the intake off it if i dont have too, cuase i cannot bolt up a 14mm intake to the magnum x.

Anybody use any other intake?

maybe you can rubber mount a 17mm phbg to the magnum intake? im not sure what size the spigot is on a 17dell, though.

Magnum X intake and rubber mount dellorto would work pretty well.

did you have to cut the magnum x intake to do that in the above pic? Is that a 17mm carb or a 19?

that totally cool. I wanna be able to put the intake back on the real magnum x i have if i need too, and want to try this other magnum x top end on the kinda reliable stock magnum. Perhaps a 17 phbh would be the hot tip.

The one difference i would notice is that i HAVE a 19mm sitting around lol so that might affect my decision. Im gonna try it with the reg bing 17 and see what its like then maybe see about the 19. The 19 is a clamp on so it might take some doing.
