I have a garelli gran sport with a 70cc polini and delorto carb that reads PHBG 20... i dont have anything to measure mm ...
its currently running without an airfilter... i tried zip tieing some oiled panty hose to the carb but i dont have any jets that will allow it to start
so what air filter would be best? I will probably have to have to extend out to the side.. the whell is pretty close
I think foam will be best... any suggestions on specific filters?
malossi makes some good filters that fit PHBG carbs.
Although, I really suggest you buy a bunch of jets and tune your bike right.....
it'll definitely get tuned right... i'll stop by handy bikes and pick up some jets. someone local just gave me some jets to tune.
i did a plug chop and apparently its running a little rich.
but yeah, i've heard good things bout malossi.

thats what i use. it rubs the fender tho when i hit big dips in the road .
im going to try to find an elbow so that the filter point out at 90 degrees...
but yeah, uni pod is cheap, has high airflow and when oiled protects against moisture and tiny bits of stuff
im always one for the incredibly simple, lets shit to go wrong
malossi or molassi same thing..perfect though.
