You can see towards the end of this video that the carb slides over the intake too easily; even when it is tightened down all the way:
The OD of the intake measures 23.5-24mm. I have a 19mm dellorto. I'm not sure what the ID of the carb is though.
Any thoughts on how to make the two fit?

I don't know that I can get anything different.
The fit is close. It just doesn't quite make it. Are there any good ways to shim it?
You need a shim... what's the id of the carb manifold vs. the intake?
I can measure the ID of the carb when I get home. Where can I get a shim? Does someone make/sell them?
I've purchased some of those shims from Seattle Mopeds back when it was owned by Kevin, now that 1977 owns it, they will probably direct you to Dellorto direct, which does not have them, but I'll bet you can get them ordered. Might have to makes some calls.
Benji has different shims. I'd give him a call.
I emailed benji. The carb ID is 24mm and the OD of the intake is 23.5mm. It's just enough so that it won't tighten down.
