Porting help in the south bay? san jose?

Is there anyone out there who has done some succesful porting that would be willing to help me port my AV7 on my Moby? I have a dremmel at least. I have been doing all kinds of reading and I understand the concept and the execution, but I'd really like to have a veteran help me out so I don't end up with Smitty's motherfucking boat anchor.

Matt (cuperteen) ported his av7 and it did 40 on a stock pipe. I'm sure he can help you out.

Re: Porting help in the south bay? san jose?

follow the moby porting spec on the wiki!! best porting ever for a moby!!!! bumps you up to a powerful 35+ with AWESOME low end. you can do this yourself, or bring it to 1977, porting takes maybe under an hour, so prabably about 60 bucks or so. or even just come by and we can tell you exactly what to do!!!!

come up to SF and talk to Lee(me) or Elliot.

Just give it a go. Thats exactly what I did (check the "Hows my porting" thread) and so far it hasn't been to hard. I`ve been following the diagram on the Wiki, hasn`t been to difficult. Just make sure you have an extra cylinder just in case.
