Stupid question: a 20mm carb hooked up to a 14mm intake= a 14mm carb, right? I don't have the cash to buy a new carb and have a 20mm Mikuni laying around. Can I put it on a 14mm intake, jet accordingly, and be okay?
I'd just do it and find out, but I have to fab up an intake first.

yeah. it's pointless to use a 20mm carb on a 14mm intake... fer sure dude...
I'd be surprised if the clamp fit the little intake.
Why not just make/buy an intake for your big carb?
Thanks for the tips. This is going on an otherwise mostly stock non-ped Gyro, so 20 mm would be too much I'm guessin. Thanks for the advice.
