tomos shocks, whats best?

one of my shocks blew out on my sprint and now i need new ones as i did not notice that they broke and rode on em and bent the thing all to hell. so im looking at moped shop and they got some real nice heavy duty hydraulics but 1977mopeds has just some coil over ones does anybody know of a any other stores reliable online parts store?

Re: tomos shocks, whats best?

I bought a nice pair of adjustable chrome spring over black deals for my tomos LX. Apparently tomos shocks are notorious for breaking, especially in coold weather. Either that or tomos riders are notoriously rough riders. Treats HQ has them. He is on e-bay and is like the official best moped parts guy ever.

Re: tomos shocks, whats best?

Heeters have heavy duty replacement shocks in stock ready to ship <http://www.heeters.com/mopedpa.shtml#shocks>;

Re: tomos shocks, whats best?

get tomos streetmate r shocks. Waaaaay better than the stock shocks or any other moped shocks you will ever get.

Re: tomos shocks, whats best?

i ended up getting the adjustable heavy duty tomos shocks from 1977 but i will try the guy on ebay next time i use myrons mopeds alot for generic stuff an he seems to be pretty good as far as shipping and haveing the parts i need. on a side note i live in san diego and dont think cold weather was a factor but my g/f has told me that i am a ruff rider (with my bike that is) so i am in the process of well trying to make my bike like a tank any other suggestions? or is there any other parts that i should watch out for?
