is it ok to run a reedvalve intake engine with no reeds? it's just a temp. thing until i get my reed setup

figured it'd be fine. just not as much torque

yeah, you lose lowend. apparently it's easier to tune.

honestly it might start up backwards with out reeds

it won't start backwards, running direction is a function of ignition timing.
