You more or less need to drill and tap the clutch posts and just bolt the thing down.

oh man, that sucks.... but at the same time kind of cool. is it ok to have that brace, (the one on treats) and the screws that came with it to be sticking out when screw into the posts? i see on the wiki he's got the screws counter sunk. I'd rather just drill and tap if there's for it. does my question contain clarity? I've never tuned my clutch, but it sure is fun!
also can I get stiffer springs at the hardware store?

I drilled and tapped the posts. Put it in. The brace screws grabbed the wall of the clutch bell. there isn't enough room in there. I definitely counter sink them or whatever you call it like the wiki pictures that brace. but I don't know how to go about that. any suggestions? what about a washer or a spacer on the inside? will that then cause too little room on the outside part? durr??

To counter sink them you need to take a countersink and run it into the brace. Kind of like a drill bit shaped like a cone. Look at the hardware store.

phil I will probably go take a look at the hardware store, or maybe I can just pay a machinist to do the job right quick. thanks, bros for the lookin out. In the mean time I've been ripping on it without a brace and it's a ton of fun!!!

Use your skills at meeting high school girls to find one who can get you into the metal shop. They will have them. It would take 30 seconds, pretty hard to mess up because they are self centering. Just don't go too far!

ok, I got it all in. and retuned it a little bit. good times. the counter sink is definitely mandatory. I think I'll throw that in on the wiki. man, I'm on parole because of those high school girls.....don't tempt me!
