Hello, I have a 1987 Trac Liberty scooter that sputters a bit on my first mile every time. I am a bit nervous to tear it apart as parts are so difficult to get. Any suggestions? I've used Seafoam a few times and high octane gas. Haven't replaced the spark plug. Thoughts? Thanks.
Because the engines take a while to get up to operating temperature they run a little lean. Once warm the fuel atomizes better. Use your choke and live with it. The original seals in those engines are bad now in 2008 and you are no doubt running a little lean. I am sure you can get the seals but you could also upjet
