a35 vs e50

jug vs. jug on an e50 bottom end, which one is better stock? how about modded?

a35 in both cases for sure!

Re: a35 vs e50

I am working on this exact project right now. a35top + e50 bottom. I just need to make a new intake and figure out an exhaust for it.

Re: a35 vs e50

can someone post a pic of an a35 topend for me? i've never seen one. why are you making a new intake?

a35 vs e50

I have a A35 top end on and e50 with a 15.15 Dellorto.. It's torquey as hell

Re: a35 vs e50

hmm that might be cutting it close as far as clearence on my build... thanks for the pic!

Re: a35 vs e50

i'm just looking for top speed, but you can't get there without torque

Above cylinder has done 50 with ease. Shaw's super bike has a ported a35 which does 65.

Re: a35 vs e50

what's done to it? (one in pic) my "stock jug" e50 does 50 in two city blocks. and that's with it running out of gearing

Re: a35 vs e50

anyone else have info on this?

Re: a35 vs e50

zack, did you do any work on your piston?

Re: a35 vs e50

the old secret was to use a 50cc TCCD puch piston which has high domed.

Re: a35 vs e50

you actually do need a lot of torque to get to high speed garret.

Re: a35 vs e50

yeah that's what i said. why would you want the domed piston?

Re: a35 vs e50

more compression.

Re: a35 vs e50

that's what i was thinking. i read in another post that high compression lowers maximum rpm? is that true? the head i'll be running is already high compression

Re: a35 vs e50

garret, you're gonna need really long studs.

Re: a35 vs e50

already got em. bored out the case and head to accept 7mm studs
