are any of the readily available pipes able to easily mount up to a za50 on a magnum without modification? or at least minimal fabrication? all my experience has been with 1 speed maxis and everything mounts up pretty easily there.

the magnum cylinders have an angled exhaust port so most exhausts dont bolt on, and the intake needs to be custom or you need to grind down the oil injection metal
its pretty easy to cut and weld if you have a mig welder. rumor has it you can also heat and bend with a propane torch but i'm not sure.
I've bent pipes with heat. I've cut pipes and welded them. Welding is easier and better. Bending is hard to do well.
true that but it can be done with just a torch if thats all you have ,and take your time if you do so.
Muffler shop.
i am really surprised that there aren't any after market pipes for a magnum. does everyone that has a magnum kit or something? has anyone fabricated anything to make a flat header? would that even be worthwhile?
I thought about an adapter, but it would take a lot of finish work to get the port to flow smooth and it would be tricky to get studs in the little bolt up adapter, because they have to be the exact spot as the studs it is screwing on to or else the pipe wont bolt up. Just chop your pipe, mark it with chalk or an awl so you can see how you want it lined up, and go down to the muffler shop with a $20.
i cut my Simonini myself and took it down to a muffler shop. only cost me 5 bucks for them to weld it.
