How bad is it a little of the nikasil plating flakes off of your 70cc tccd kit?
Depends on how much the little bit is. A 1mm spot won't kill you.
If it's on the edge of a port, take some fine sandpaper (Like grade 1000) and smooth it up, so your rings won't catch.

just smooth it out....i've done it before with great success.
I was trying to widen the intake port with a file. I thought it was going well, until I looked inside. It's more than a mm, but not huge. I'll get in there with some sand paper and see what I can do. The thing is brand new, I haven't even run it yet!
Go to harbor freight and get a set of really tiny files, or just borrow mine. It's a hell of a lot easier than trying to use sandpaper to chamfer edges.

Don't use sandpaper to chamfer. Sandpaper is only good to smooth out a lil chip in the wall, if it's big you'll need to file it like Eric said.
