24 mikuni flatslise and matching intake. My buddy hit 69.7 with his metra mikuni set up. I hit 70. If you are hitting those speeds with the dellorto you are right there. That kit LOVES a mikuni.

I have an air leak on the polini and I need to switch the intake on my new murray za50 alu. Also derbi has been so fun around town but thats going to change soon. look for updates there!

school and bikes being a general pain i put the fa 50 in time out. actually i put the motor in the hands of a pro,ish and the passport runs i just need to attach my brake and up jet. little things that are turning out to be a pain. do they ever get easier?

you guys were right, 19 dell is a thriller on 65 metra. but my crank on the flywheel side got stripped so we had to re-thread it until i can get some money together for a new one. yeeeeeeep-er

I've been, and still am breaking in my athena 50. Took a nice longish ride with Motion Left tonight, that helped. I need smaller idle jets to dial it in.

I too have been working on evryones bike but mine. I have honestly rode it about 10 miles since Chicago rally. I don't even care. I cannot get my girls bike to spark. Jeff and I were trouble shootigfor about 3 hours. I am gout to swap the stator now. Only thing left. I hate mopeds. Kind of.

I just had to swap a stator, after messing with the timing for 2 days. Actually it's the best parts from two electrical systems combined. Total headache.

I would imagine so; if you drain out all the gas, and oil. Clean it up and out. Put a strap on it, and you could probably carry it on; otherwise pack it in your luggage.

New stator should do it. I had the same thing going on with my Motron and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. I could get it to spark every GREAT once in a while and then it wouldn't. Put the new stator in and sparkle motion was instantaneous.

Stripped an exhaust stud hole out of my Polini kit while battling an exhaust leak. I think it had been hanging on by a couple of threads for a while, which is why I couldn't get a perfect seal. got my helicoil kit and took apart the top end last night. Need to drill out the old hole, retap, and insert the helicoil threads. Then the process of cleaning the cylinder, cutting new gaskets, putting the 4 petal back on and sealing it up tight, reassembly, etc. Pain in the butt for such a little problem like an exhaust leak.

The fact that I'm completely OCD about shit doesn't help either. What I described would take some people a couple of hours. It will take me a couple of days.
