I've got one of those pieces of doodoo on my Minarelli/Carabela clone.
I inquired with people here about a new exhaust, and apparently Puch exhausts can be fitted extremely easily to the V1.
I would say get a new exhaust and get rid of the crappy tin can.
As for derestricting, I have no idea :3
I was about to cut one open last night, but I'm going to wait 'til I get an extra in. It's pretty straightforward from what I can tell. Lots of baffle. Take it out. Weld it back. Get loud. Get speed. Your basic exhaust derestriction in a compact pan form. Just do it!
you should do this and take pics of the insid e for me, its like a fortune cookie, I just got to know!
I've done it. There's hella baffles in there and some other crap. GUT the fuck out of it.
