Considering a small port Metra 80 for the next project bike, but not willing to pay 230-280 for an 80cc pipe. Are there any cheaper options? Keep in mind I plan on using the kit on this bike for the torque and don't need it to rev like a polini (hence the small port 80).
What pipes are $230+?
Simonini or Motomatic is what comes to mind.

but, you still need to cut and weld the simonini to get it to work with an angled exhaust port. all the pipes for 80cc kits are high revving pipes, but the simonini provides better low end than the homoet 8p. those are terrible in the low end department.

1977 has a pipe for around 230ish that I'd never heard of. Where are you finding the simonini?
That n8p pipe they have is the best high rpm pipe you can get for an 80cc kit. its handmade in cali.
treats has simoninis in stock most of the time.
something for low rpms would be like a boss or something, but i dont know if those will work on an 80 kit. the chamber might be to small.
tecno hunter will bolt right up and work good.
