Mobylette pipe advice

Just got my first Motobecane, a 76 Mobylette, and I'm wondering which pipe I should get for it. Will be stock jug for at least a while, maybe with some porting.

Also thinking about a 15.15 SHA, I think I need one of those 15mm shorty intakes for one of those?

And finally, what filter should I get? Thanks!

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

IM runing a stock jug, with a 15.15 carb 62 jet the filter came with the carb.g2 pipe its way faster than stock but needs a kit.see photo?

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

I just put on 4 hours ago the G3 Ninja Exhaust. I was able to keep the pedals, but was unable to keep the kickstand.

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

go for a g3. awesome.

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

I will let you guys know how she is. I only got to take it for a 2 block ride and I already noticed a 3-4 mph gain. That was with the stock carb. Then I decided to do the dellorto 15/15 swap, 15mm intake, 61 jet, inline fuel filter, clubman handle bars, and had to stop at 11pm. So hopefully I get it all back together tonight and can test it out. Oh and the G3 has a good sound to it, little crackle at idle...

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

yeah, the g2's and g3's sound awesome. james, if you are ever planning on kitting your moby get a g3. or do an av10 build with a gr1 or other 50cc screamer and get a g2. so fucking tight.

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

I dig my black moby with spokes. My second choice would be orange.

Re: Mobylette pipe advice

Too late Davy, I bought a vintage Simo from treats...we'll see how it does with that and a 15.15 and shorty intake. It has the gayest little gurtner I have ever seen in my life.
