I have had my LX for a few months now and it is running great, but I would like to have a higher top speed. Right now it can do about 37. What could a new pipe or kit do to help it out? Are there any simple options that wouldn't require too many alterations? Thanks.

the question is how much money are you willing to spend???
do u have access to a welder? do u have $? do u know how to tune a carb? do u have access to a person who can port? he list goes on what top speed do u want ? how long do u want it to live?
If your going by your tomos speedo your actually only hitting 32-33 mph.
Upgrade your front sprocket to a 27 or 28T, get a performance exhaust and upjet a couple of sizes.
or wear 6 collared shirts and pop them all.
