quick fix for pedal sprocket clearance (moby AV10)

So, when I put my AV10 together, the carb was popping out right next to the pedal sprocket. Before the motor could variate much, the carb would hit the sprocket and stop it. I cut down the sprocket to about 1 inch from the crank, drilled some holes in the nubs, and bolted on a bicycle sprocket. no more clearance issues, hooray! on a side note, the doppler pipe is the size of a well built man's thigh. we made pedal pegs, oh so classy.

Also, if you look closely at the first picture, you can see my super sweet bumper made of a piece of tire and held on with zip ties which keeps the pipe from scraping on the cut off center stand bracket

Yeah torque pedal power!

Re: quick fix for pedal sprocket clearance (moby A

is the other pedal the same length? pretty rad mod.

Re: quick fix for pedal sprocket clearance (moby A

we tried one normal one short, but that was really weird and not comfortable so now they're both the same length. i can almost pedal sort of. this is just to hold me over until I can make a new pedal shaft that is about an inch longer on each side than stock to allow real pedal arms. i like to pedal.

Think he might be using 4130 for the job and access to a big mill to make the flats... :-)
