The carb is stamped with a 96 for year on it, it was sold to me as being off a 96 Puch Korado, and I'm pretty sure that it was. It may be the same model Bing however as they put on the Sachs. I will MAKE a jet for it if I have to (carved proudly with my own eyelid), to get this bike running right, as I did a WOT plug chop today...death white... bike is "grounded" till upjet. I'm surprised how much different a story plugs can tell you at WOT only, versus all speeds together, 'cuz normal plug looked a nice brown.
I just took a new b9 plug with me (brought along that shitty little box it comes in for hot plugs) and a socket, rode to a peaceful and unsuspecting neighborhood with long streets, swapped in the new plug, and opened up on the innocent populace for a couple miles. Killed engine at wot with braking load, fast stop. Swapped plugs back and rode home. Plug nose still looks dulled white but metal rim has browning, YIKES. Shit musta got hot as Hell... Close one.
I just need a jet that will thread in, I will hassle the motorcycle shop to find something that will thread in, like maybe for something common like a Suzuki. Will check with that shop..
