Is your slide truly closing all the way? Why is your idle turned in so far? Won't it idle slower? If you turn the idle screw out, does it drop, and then stop dropping even though the screw is turned out more? If so, your slide isn't closing all the way (throttle cable adjustment, or too short a cable), or you've got an air leak.

Re: jetting help

turning the idle screw in raises the idle...and turning it out lowers it. so if you turn it out mroe and more then the bike will just die. im pretty sure my slide is going down all the way. but ill check that out and see. any other suggestions guys?

Re: jetting help

If you take some time to read these articles thoroughly, you won't be asking questions on the forums every few days, and you might even get your setup tuned correctly.

Re: jetting help

ive read the PHBG manual about idle setting enough times and quite simply i still can't get my shit tuned right. i've tuned phbg's before but not on 80 kits. so im just asking for help cause im at a loss, not because i haven't read up on it. idle tuning to me is a big bitch, and maybe its just something i dont understand....so thats why i was asking for help. just incase someone had a quick fix.

Re: jetting help

any other opinions?
