Any suggestions on what kind of carb I should get with this kit?
Should I just stick to a larger bing?
What do you guys use out there... interested.
Trying to get my Magnum to go, go, go...

my boyfriend has a 15mm bing on his polini E50 and he rode it 1.5 hours going 50 mph no problems. he has his jetted in the high 90's. if you want a no-fail set up, i'd copy his.
I've ran 2 polini kits, and have run the 15mm Bing. It is a good choice. Not the highest performance, but a good choice. I used the black high-flow filter with mine as well.
a well jetted 15mm bing and you have the most reliable kit/carb combo out there. theyre way easier to tune than phbg's and _everyone_ has bing jets. (not literally, but you know what i mean, hopefully)
What kind of exhaust do you guys use?
I really want to stick with my stock exhaust so I keep the original look with everything... I can get the hi-flow filter and I was thinking about de-restricting my stock exhaust.
Wonder how fast this would make me go after some rejetting.
Hmmm...

If you're goiong to get a kit, especially a polini, you'll want to get a pipe with an expansion chamber. Take a look at the chrome Boss It looks a lot like the stock pipe and it doesn't interfere with pedals or kickstand.
I ran a 20mm Dellorto on my Polini and the 15 Bing for comparison. The bing ran better.
Did you run the 20 with the 4 petal reed setup?
my boyfriend has an estoril.. but he's considering a simo.
PLEASE don't waste your time running a polini with the stock exhaust!
Ohenry, did you tune the PHBG for all throttle ranges? They're WAY more complex carburetors than bings or dellorto SHA's, and so you have to invest way more time tuning them.
I ran a Dellorto 14.12 and biturbo with reliable results. Not the fastest setup but it did the trick.
