I finally got me suburban set up with the 505/1d after a 1a swap. it has a lot of power but will not break 30. I thought it was a bolt on 40 mph motor. its got a biturbo and the only way to really got it to go is to take off the filter and thats the only way i can get to 30. i just went through this whole motor and transmission because i had to replace the crank. everything looks ok..?? I had to change the stator plate with the one from my 1a. could the timing be off? i just put it on so the screws were in the middle of the slots. what do you think?? Thanks
