no i know about the wiki. i just want anyone who has done it and has any advice for me.
no bigger than 15.5-16mm and you'll be fine. use a lathe or dremel, press is kinda difficult.
I used a drill press to make a 14 into a 16. In retrospect I wish i had stuck with 15.5, but it is ok. Take all the jets and stuff out and line the sucker up really well, I used a piloting rod (a 1/4" straight rod to check for a perfect 90 deg. in all axis. Keep in mind that opening that up will change your idle speed and may make it too high, so be prepared to mess with the slide/ carb floor too. Bore your intake too, while you're at it match it to the intake port (use some gaskets and a sharpie, then dremel it.) Bore very slowly, use lots of oil and I used sprays of denatured alcohol to cool it too, don't let it get too hot, it will go oval, or otherwise warp out. clean up all burrs and orifices inside and make sure there are no shavings in it. Upjetting is now a must. Recheck for air leaks.

okay so i talked to this guy named jimmy last night. and he said that he has done a bunch of boring. so. im gonna send it to him for like 12 bucks and hes gonna bore it out for me. i would rather have an experienced person do it than me do it and fuck it up. so off to jimmy my carb goes. i will post results when im done.
