Morini M1 Tuning

Anyone done any performance upgrades to this thing?

I see alot of potential, but the stock intake is like a little straw. Super small. Bore that thing out. And then i've seen the Imperal M1 65cc kit on 1977 mopeds. Does anyone have any experience with this kit? Where can you buy new sprockets also? How bout exhaust? I figure i might just buy a used estroil or something of that sort and then cut er up and weld it back so i can slap it on my sebring with the M1.

Re: Morini M1 Tuning

Almost forgot, took alook at the ports today and alittle port matching could do a good deal it looks too.

Re: Morini M1 Tuning

I have 2 of them with the morini kits really need a larger carb. I also have found some exhausts. called faco. I will be getting them and let you know

I have 2 sebrings and 2 negrini with the reed valve, I also have a kit somewhere for the piston port motor

Re: Morini M1 Tuning

Did the Kit make a big improvement? Did you get a new intake, because just looking at the stock one its super small, id almost make no sense to get a bigger carb till you got a bigger intake. you'll have to also keep me updated on the exhaust.

Re: Morini M1 Tuning

Yeah I just picked up a seabring too, doesn't have the reedvalve motor though, been having a hard time finding aftermarket parts for it. that intake is tiny and not much room for porting cause the intake screws are so close, same with the exhaust. anyone out there had any luck with these. i've been considering mocking up mounts to put on a puch engine. any suggestions?

Re: Morini M1 Tuning

i just got 2 sebrings, theyre really slow.

Re: Morini M1 Tuning

It doest have the read valve motor with the intake on the engine case? what does it have then?
