Hey folks.....I caught the bug. I want to upgrade the head.
In my infinite drunk wisdom, I have decided to upgrade the stock 49cc head on my Puch Maxi Luxe...Budget $200...can it be done? What can be done?

Buy a hc head, or just mill the stock head, or get an expansion chamber.

forget the head, use the stock one and buy a Polini cylinder kit!! $250 and blast 40+mph!!! a high comp head is not going to make that much difference. goto treatshq on ebay!!

If you only hit 40 on a polini, you're doin something wrong.

A high compression head will make a noticeable difference if your compression is low. Heads are cheap, and you can't fuck them up. Polini's are expensive, and extremely easy to fuck up.

welll I guess I need to know where to find a high comp head..treats only has large kits
do you think a carb upgrade with my stock head would work? suggestions?

Talk to treats about a 65 metra kit.
1. easy to install
2. not hard to seize, unless it's your first rodeo,
3. right tuning, hauls ass.

is that what you have on the Pinto? I like Pintos but I would scratch off the JC Penny thing.
I don't want to spend a ton of cash.. What if I just upgrade the carb to a Dellorto? I have a stock Bing right now

Your best bet right now would be to upgrade your exhaust, and upjet accordingly. Imo this is where you should start.

yeah get a 65 or 70 airsal. i was going to but the company i was gonna get them from was back ordered. i may get one this winter.

shit...man...I bought a Biturbo for 100 and that titts asss pipe is only 15 bucks more...dammit...friggin noob!!!!
