removing the baffle from a streetmate R

Ive read the post about derestricting the Tomos Streetmate R, but i dont see exactly how i can do this.

Can somebody help me, in how to remove the baffle from the exaust system?

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

dont bother, just get a new pipe.

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

a new pipe on your moped will be the equivalent of slapping a turbo on your car. It's that noticeable.

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

saw your other post... don't be afraid to spend a little bit of money. there isn't some mysterious, secret, cheap way of discovering hidden power in your moped. the a55 spins really fast compared to other engines at the same mph, and it has really big ports - save up for a 22 or 26 tooth rear sprocket, get a foam filter, a pipe, and some new jets, and play around with it.

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

listen to noah...you can do all that and spend less than 150 bucks.

I got a Biturbo pipe, jets, new air filter and other fuel system rebuilt parts and still spent less than 150

Don't bother, I gutted mine , and there's no room for improvement inside, what you need is a new pipe ,and the chamber design.

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

get a biturbo, 22 rear sprocket, unipod filter, new jets. and cut you clutch springs for better acceleration (order some backups) that should be less than 200 and you should go 45mph

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

Yea, im thinking of setting that shit up. I will soon. But i think i have a leak =/ so once i handle that, ill take what you said into consideration man, i want to do that =] haha thnx

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

hey saw your post, i have an 08 streetmate r and i was about to put the airsal kit and exhaust on but was sure if i should put the unipod filter for card or replace the airfilter for airbox. Also should i put the 22 back sprockt for top end speed

Re: removing the baffle from a streetmate R

yea, i mean, if you dont want to spend money on a unipod you can drill some holes in your air box. and yes you should get the 22 for the back, but you dont have to do the 22, you can do a 24 or 26 too.
