Sachs Clutch

Someone on here said they found a solution but I cant find the thread. Anyone know who it was? Here's what I'm thinking. Have the pads resurfaced with better material and having the discs turned with some kind of pattern. Im sick of slipping. Especially on a low mile bike. Anyone have any good fixes? Ive tried motor oil and scuffing the pads and discs. All temporary fixes.

Re: Sachs Clutch

those sond like good fixes to me

Re: Sachs Clutch

Why motor oil?

Re: Sachs Clutch

motor oil is more more viscous mr.mike bartell

Re: Sachs Clutch

It's just a strange choice, especially since most sources say transmission fluid.

Except for the multi speed motors.

I was hoping for a break- thru miracle cure.

B&M trick shift is a big no no - it makes the fiber plates swell.

Re: Sachs Clutch

oh crap I just put that in there.

Re: Sachs Clutch

brendan suggested changing the trans fluid about once a month. sounds like a good idea to me.
